The alignment integrates Siemens' R&D, Intelligence, and Production Suite products under the umbrella of the SIMATIC IT brand into a new organization. The new business unit will focus on the U.S. business functions of marketing, sales, consulting services and product development, to strategically drive SIMATIC IT business into the Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Discrete and Chemical industries.
