AUSTIN, TEXAS (April 19, 2006) – Emerson Process Management has launched two global language versions of their highly acclaimed PlantWeb^® University online educational program (www.PlantWebUniversity.com). Free training courses are now available in Chinese and Spanish language. Both language versions offer a user-friendly interface and access to 46 courses and five white papers on the most current automation technology and business topics.

The first Chinese language version of PlantWeb University went online in January 2004, and has attracted thousands of industry professionals. The 2006 version offers an improved user interface for easier participation and a more effective learning experience.

Courses are free, easy to understand and available to anyone. Each course takes about 15 minutes to complete, and participants can learn at their own pace from anywhere there is an Internet connection.
