MILWAUKEE, March 22, 2007 — Rockwell Automation offers increased power, speed and expanded communication capabilities with new enhancements to the Allen Bradley MicroLogix 1100 family of industrial controllers. The controllers meet the needs of various applications across a multitude of industries, with control, communication and visualization in one compact system.

Series B MicroLogix 1100 controllers will include an onboard Ethernet Web server with the ability to notify users of production faults via e-mail. The embedded communications port and Web server give users access to control information for real-time data sharing with OEM partners, remote maintenance engineers and personnel throughout the production facility.

This gives users the ability to monitor and make changes to data values directly from the display, helping to eliminate the need for a stand-alone operator interface in many applications.
